a simple way to learn/send/receive text with Morse Code


The Morse Code is a simple way to code letters and words in dots and lines combinations.


Example: to say "A", send one line and one dot.

How to use this app

Send: write some text in the upper box and press "Send", the iPhone 4 and 4S flash will blink long and short according to Morse Code translation you can see in the "Morse code translation" box. You can set the speed of sending with the slider.


Receive: tap "Receive" button long for dash and short for dot. Leave a little time between letters (3 time the dot duration) and longer time for word separation (6 time the dot duration). At the end of the message tap "end".

Learn: write something in "Phrase to send", tap "Send". Observing flash and the "Morse code translation" you can imitate the sequence of dashes and dots with "Receive" button.
Start with simple words like "SOS" and so on.


Flashlight: tap on Flash ON and Flash OFF buttons.

Continued use of the flash may dramatically decrease battery life.
